How does the UnPocket™ affect battery charge?
Great question. The short story is much less than you might expect. The UnPocket blocks all radio signals in and out of the pouch, but it doesn’t stop your phone searching for a signal (it just won’t be able to find one). After a solid month of testing, our iPhone 5 lost between 8 - 11% of its charge over 8 hours inside the UnPocket™, compared to 5 - 8% lost normally over the same period outside the pocket (when the phone is on but not being used). Note also that we have one of the first iPhone 5’s that have just been recalled by Apple due to dodgy batteries so these should be worst case scenarios. If you really want to conserve battery then we suggest standard battery-saving tactics like switching to flight mode before putting your phone in the UnPocket™. What does UnPocket™ do that flight mode or simply turning the phone off doesn’t already achieve?
Great question also. Phones with GPS likely can be tracked even if they are powered down, and Airplane Mode only limits the radio signals to and from the device and does not fully block them. Not to mention that phones can be hacked to seem like they are off when actually they are really just pretending. Unless you physically remove the battery (which is impossible on iPhone) there is no guarantee that your phone is actually off and it can still be transmitting enough data to be trackable. Popping your phone into UnPocket™ is both easier and faster than constantly fiddling with the battery (if you even can get to it). Last updated: Fri, Sep 5 2014 7:22 pm EDT
I’m from the future, will the UnPocket™ fit my iPhone 6 Plus?
Lucky you, we love the future! Anyway. Yes it will. You can read more about it in our update from September 10 here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/zoltancsaki/1984-stealth-fashion-for-the-under-surveillance-so/posts/980843 Last updated: Tue, Sep 9 2014 11:35 pm EDT
Will you make women’s clothes?
We’re a menswear brand so we don’t have women’s cuts. That said if you like the baggier style of the ‘boyfriend look’, you’re in the right place! Simply drop a size from what you’d usually wear, so if you’re normally a Medium in women’s clothes our Small should work (please double check the measures on the fit guide just in case). And if you need a smaller size than our Small, please email us: kickstarter [at] the-affair [dot] com Last updated: Fri, Sep 5 2014 6:34 pm EDT
Do you think women don’t care about privacy or something?
Absolutely not! Privacy is not an issue defined by gender which is part of the reason we made the UnPocket™ detachable/removeable from the clothes and available as a stand alone accessory. We know that women care about privacy and we hope those that do buy UnPocket™. Last updated: Fri, Sep 5 2014 6:34 pm EDT
How do I choose my size and colourway?
If we’re successfully funded when the campaign closes we’ll send a survey where you’ll be able to choose your size and colours. This is standard Kickstarter practice. Last updated: Fri, Sep 5 2014 6:34 pm EDT
Can I get more than 1 piece of the same style?
Yes. And because we offer free shipping anywhere it’s really easy. Simply select the reward tier you want and multiply by the desired number of pieces and pledge that amount. For example if you want two UnPockets that would be a total pledge GBP 36 (18 each * 2 pairs). Last updated: Fri, Sep 5 2014 6:34 pm EDT
Can I combine reward tiers?
Yes. Simply add the individual reward levels together and pledge that amount. For example say you want the Party Workshirt plus the Party Chinos, you would need to pledge GBP 118 (59 for the Chinos + 59 for the Workshirt). It doesn’t matter which tier you select as the base reward, but please do drop us a note as that helps keep track of everything. Last updated: Fri, Sep 5 2014 6:34 pm EDT
Do you accept USD or EUR or any other currency?
Yes. Kickstarter accepts any currency although you will need to pledge, and you will be charged, in GBP (but of course only if we’re successful in reaching our funding goal). Last updated: Sun, Sep 7 2014 3:30 pm EDT

Last Updated At: 12/08/14What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
